Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cosimo Di Vito started the match with the kick off. Alberigo Barillari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Diego Nero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 minutes of play, Veveri's Demetrio Giacchetti made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Nero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Muratello AFC's Diego Nero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Giacchetti in the 8th minute of play. Andrea Maurizi hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Muratello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrio Giacchetti came free, but Diego Nero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberigo Barillari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alberigo Barillari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demetrio Giacchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosimo Di Vito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Muratello AFC booed when Veveri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comunardo Vago didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes, Muratello AFC's Bianco Gelsomini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ercole Carlini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Muratello AFC reached it. Comunardo Vago hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Veveri's Ercole Carlini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Di Vito in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Veveri were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Demetrio Giacchetti to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Alberigo Barillari took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Diego Nero to make any attempt to save it. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Veveri's goalkeeper Ercole Carlini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Muratello AFC's Cosimo Di Vito got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Nero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberigo Barillari in the 71st minute. Davide Riccardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ercole Carlini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Demetrio Giacchetti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diego Nero. The goal made the score 0-3. 92 minutes into the match, Muratello AFC's Davide Riccardi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ercole Carlini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Demetrio Giacchetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
