The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 18th minute Florian Mazzei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Masci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Elia Toto fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Gregório's protests and gave Elia Toto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Olgiata FC booed when San Gregório was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Toto didn't get a good kick on the ball.
