Fabrizio Maestri came out of the goal and Beppe Cusumano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sarbia AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Certosino the free kick. Ettore Meo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damiano Polmone. Sarbia AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ciccio Candeloro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 25 minutes, Fabio Papetti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Certosino and the Sarbia AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Ciccio Candeloro in the 83rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Damiano Polmone kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Beppe Cusumano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Fabrizio Maestri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Certosino got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Di Cola. When Dario Addario fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarbia AFC's protests and gave Dario Addario a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Dario Addario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
