If Alex Antenucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beppe Volta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Antenucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Alex Antenucci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beppe Volta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 17 played minutes Frattocchie got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Gentile. Alex Antenucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Beppe Volta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alex Antenucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Anthony Gazza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beppe Volta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Domenico Polidori hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Frattocchie's Franco Zisser couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Calanna. Beppe Volta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anthony Gazza's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Anthony Gazza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beppe Volta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Alberigo Sangermano charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberigo Sangermano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Calanna got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Sangermano. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Anthony Gazza made the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Catena's late challenge caught a Calanna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Catena helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Frattocchie getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Eugenio Catena hit a great ball. Alessio Fiore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Adriano Trevisani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Frabetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Adriano Trevisani notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Frattocchie's Frank Frabetti. Frank Frabetti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Alex Antenucci got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Calanna's Beppe Volta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Gazza in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Alex Antenucci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beppe Volta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When Francesco Gentile fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frattocchie's protests and gave Francesco Gentile a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Francesco Gentile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Fiore in the 85th minute of play forced Frattocchie's goalkeeper Frank Frabetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Anthony Gazza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Beppe Volta. The goal made the score 1-4. Adriano Trevisani took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frank Frabetti. Frank Frabetti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4.
