The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Persichetti was the one to do the kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Miramare reached it. 96 minutes into the game, Fortunato Roberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miramare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frosinone AFC the free kick. Fortunato Roberto kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabrizio Costantino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alberto Gentile. That made the score 0-2 in the 98 minute of play. The Miramare fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Frosinone AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
