The supporters of Concorezzo FC booed when Borsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Gerola didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 played minutes Borsea got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Gerola. Antonio Giandomenico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Cristoforo Colaussi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Borsea's Antonio Giandomenico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristoforo Colaussi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Carmine Cristofari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlo Alba was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. When Antonio Giandomenico came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Borsea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Giandomenico couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute Adriano De Tommasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Alba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Concorezzo FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Milani. Cristoforo Colaussi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Giampieri in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Concorezzo FC's Cristoforo Colaussi got control of the ball when Antonio Giandomenico tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute Adriano De Tommasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Alba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 played minutes Borsea got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Giampieri. After the first half Concorezzo FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Borsea's Alberto Bonelli got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Adriano De Tommasi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Concorezzo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano De Tommasi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Alba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute Carmine Cristofari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Alba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristoforo Colaussi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Giandomenico in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Giampieri in the 86th minute of play forced Concorezzo FC's goalkeeper Cristoforo Colaussi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-1 became the score in the 91st minute when Carlo Giampieri elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
