The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Urago Mella's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Attilio Giannantonio 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Attilio Giannantonio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dario Pascucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Attilio Giannantonio struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Dario Pascucci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borgonovo FC. Dario Pascucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Giannantonio, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the Borgonovo FC defense, Eraldo Pasquarelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Trivelli. The Borgonovo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Trivelli should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eraldo Pasquarelli in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Trivelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Giannantonio in the 25th minute of play forced Urago Mella's goalkeeper Dario Pascucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Eraldo Pasquarelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Diego Trivelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arrigo Di Berardino charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arrigo Di Berardino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Borgonovo FC's Arrigo Di Berardino got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 45th minute, Fedele Migliorati made a precise shot to the right of Dario Pascucci. Urago Mella's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. Urago Mella's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Helfer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Trivelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Trivelli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eraldo Pasquarelli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 91 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Urago Mella walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
