After having played for 19 minutes, Dino Helfer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urago Mella's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Helfer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Filippo Mingione fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urago Mella's protests and gave Filippo Mingione a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Urago Mella getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Filippo Mingione hit a great ball. If Eraldo Pasquarelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Forcello FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Pasquarelli came free, but Emanuele Pantani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arrigo Di Filippo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Pascucci having to make a save. Forcello FC's Emanuele Pantani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Helfer in the 39th minute of play. Dino Helfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Pantani having to interfere. Eugenio Arioli kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute of the match Adriano Marinucci sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuele Pantani skillfully saved the ball. When Dino Helfer came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Urago Mella fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Helfer couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Di Fabio made a kick off. In the 56th minute Arrigo Di Filippo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Pascucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Arioli hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Forcello FC's zone, Dino Helfer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuele Pantani came out of the goal and Dino Helfer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Urago Mella booed when Forcello FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Colecchia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Emanuele Pantani managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Urago Mella's Dino Helfer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Emanuele Pantani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Pasquarelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Urago Mella's Dino Helfer got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Urago Mella booed when Forcello FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Arioli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuele Pantani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dino Helfer in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dino Helfer got free with Emanuele Pantani in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Urago Mella's Dario Pascucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arrigo Di Filippo in the 94th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edoardo Cieri during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
