Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amedeo Mandara took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Mocchirolo's Amedeo Mandara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damiano Contestabile made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A hard shot 7 in the game by Alfredo Marinelli from a close distance when the talented Andrea Garofalo managed to make a qualified save. Mocchirolo's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Marinelli in the 9th minute of play forced Mocchirolo's goalkeeper Andrea Garofalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alexander Rosi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Mocchirolo's Alex Mandara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damiano Contestabile narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bitritto's zone, Amedeo Mandara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damiano Contestabile came out of the goal and Amedeo Mandara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute Alex Mandara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Contestabile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Rosi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Andrea Garofalo 28 minutes into the match. Bitritto's Alfredo Marinelli got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antonello Galeone charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonello Galeone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Mocchirolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonello Galeone to maneuver through the defense. Emanuele Capobianco charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuele Capobianco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexander Rosi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Garofalo having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexander Rosi to make the kick off. With a little luck, Bitritto's Damiano Contestabile got control of the ball when Alex Mandara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelio Colantonio's late challenge caught a Mocchirolo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Colantonio helped the player get up and apologised. Damiano Contestabile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Mandara in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Amedeo Mandara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mocchirolo's supporters rose to their feet, but Amedeo Mandara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damiano Contestabile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damiano Contestabile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Mandara in the 61st minute of play. Alex Mandara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Damiano Contestabile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Amedeo Mandara put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Damiano Contestabile. In the 69th minute, Concetto Iacovone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Amedeo Mandara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmondo De Feo struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Damiano Contestabile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mocchirolo. Amedeo Mandara might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damiano Contestabile. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amedeo Mandara ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute, Alex Mandara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Mocchirolo booed when Bitritto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felice Basilico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Mandara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bitritto's Damiano Contestabile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Mandara in the 93rd minute of play. Aurelio Colantonio hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
