After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Attilio Festuccia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Donegaglia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ercole Toccaceli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Costa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Festuccia came free, but Enrico Luciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Attilio Festuccia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Attilio Festuccia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Luciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Costa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Festuccia came free, but Enrico Luciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Ansoldi made a kick off. If Ercole Toccaceli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, Costa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Festuccia came free, but Enrico Luciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Daniele Di Dio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Onori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Moreschi having to interfere. In the 70th minute Attilio Festuccia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Luciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrico Luciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Festuccia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Donegaglia's Biagio Nanni got a free kick in the 81st minute. Enrico Luciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Festuccia, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 85 minutes, Fabiano Fortunato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa FC and the Donegaglia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Donegaglia booed when Costa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Fortunato didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Ercole Toccaceli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 played minutes Costa FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Brunetta. Costa FC's Alfonso Onori got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Donegaglia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Costa FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Costa FC.
