Gabbro FC's Damiano Mazzei got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmondo Michelini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Bernardo Palladino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mancasale FC's Bernardo Molinaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Mazzei in the 13th minute of play. Damiano Mazzei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Molinaro having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmondo Michelini kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernardo Palladino. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Mancasale FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damiano Mazzei came free, but Bernardo Molinaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Molinaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Vinci in the 29th minute of play. When Damiano Mazzei came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Gabbro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damiano Mazzei couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Vinci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 36 minutes, Damiano Mazzei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gabbro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damiano Mazzei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Molinaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Vinci, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Alvaro Vinci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gabbro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Vinci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Molinaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Biagio Carbonetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Vinci made a kick off. Gabbro FC's Alvaro Vinci got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Alvaro Vinci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonello Lampa kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Bernardo Molinaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Vinci, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Eraldo Coccia fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gabbro FC's protests and gave Eraldo Coccia a yellow card for diving instead. Eraldo Coccia kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Mancasale FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Molinaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damiano Mazzei. The supporters of Mancasale FC booed when Gabbro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Coccia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1-1 became the score in the 86th minute when Alvaro Vinci elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Damiano Mazzei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Molinaro having to interfere. Mancasale FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Gabbro FC had controlled the match.
