After 2 played minutes Novara AFC got a freekick which was hit by Comunardo Fantasia. After having played for 4 minutes, Alessio Presutti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Confienza AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessio Presutti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dino Di Marzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Scandella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ferdinando Zisser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Scandella got free with Ferdinando Zisser in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferdinando Zisser came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Novara AFC's Christian Scandella. But to his dismay, Christian Scandella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 19thth minute of the game Alessio Presutti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novara AFC's Andrea Roberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Alessio Presutti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinando Zisser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bianco Andreozzi in the 28th minute of the match. Alessio Presutti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the game, Arturo De Marco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Novara AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Confienza AFC the free kick. Alessio Presutti struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Andrea Roberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Confienza AFC. In the 42nd minute, Alessio Presutti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Felice Volpe came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Confienza AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felice Volpe couldn't finish the play. Alessio Presutti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrea Roberto having to make a save. If Alessio Presutti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessio Presutti to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Christian Scandella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 54 minutes, Bianco Andreozzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Novara AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bianco Andreozzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Confienza AFC's Cesare Marinucci got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Christian Scandella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessio Presutti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Andrea Roberto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ferdinando Zisser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bianco Andreozzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ferdinando Zisser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Scandella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felice De Meis kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Alessio Presutti dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andrea Roberto, 1-1. In the 80th match minute, Novara AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Di Marzio to maneuver through the defense. After 82 minutes, Felice Volpe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Confienza AFC and the Novara AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felice Volpe kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Andrea Roberto made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Alessio Presutti sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Confienza AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Novara AFC.
