Folzano's Ciro Berardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo Piretti in the 4th minute of play. Comunardo Piretti took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Berardi. Ciro Berardi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Comunardo Piretti in the 9th minute of play forced Folzano's goalkeeper Ciro Berardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cormano's Comunardo Piretti in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Folzano's goalie prevented a goal. The corner led Cormano's Alessandro Brunelli to fire away a dangerous shot which Ciro Berardi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ciccio Brandini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Berardi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Eugenio Franceschelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Pallotta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Berardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Comunardo Piretti in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Cormano booed when Folzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Di Persio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cormano's Comunardo Piretti got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Folzano's Ciro Berardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Brandini in the 35th minute of play. Alessio Di Persio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Eugenio Nicolo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute, Anselmo Colle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Franceschelli in the 52nd minute of play forced Cormano's goalkeeper Federico Pallotta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Comunardo Piretti made the kick off in the second half. Federico Pallotta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugenio Franceschelli went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 65 played minutes Folzano got a freekick which was hit by Alessio Di Persio. The audience was convinced that Comunardo Piretti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro Berardi was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Ciccio Brandini who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Ciro Berardi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alessio Di Persio kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Folzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Tassotti to maneuver through the defense. Comunardo Piretti struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Ciro Berardi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cormano. Ciccio Brandini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Berardi having to interfere. Camillo Formaggio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Pallotta having to interfere. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cormano's goalkeeper Federico Pallotta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91stth minute of the game Eugenio Franceschelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cormano's Federico Pallotta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ciccio Brandini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Comunardo Piretti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Berardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camillo Formaggio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
