Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Comunardo Piretti got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Fortunato Di Placido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Pallotta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Cormano's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Rucci came free, but Federico Pallotta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Pallotta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Rucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Casorate Sempione booed when Cormano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Colle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fortunato Di Placido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Federico Pallotta came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Casorate Sempione's Adriano Rucci. But to his dismay, Adriano Rucci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Federico Pallotta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Di Placido in the 28th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Casorate Sempione got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Cilli. When Edoardo Rondinelli fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cormano's protests and gave Edoardo Rondinelli a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cormano's Edoardo Rondinelli got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Adriano Rucci came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Casorate Sempione fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Rucci couldn't finish the play. Fortunato Di Placido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Cormano's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Rucci came free, but Federico Pallotta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fortunato Di Placido to make the kick off. Fortunato Di Placido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adriano Bottone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Comunardo Piretti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Casorate Sempione's Fortunato Di Placido ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Federico Pallotta. Federico Pallotta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. 71 minutes into the match, Casorate Sempione's Adriano Rucci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Pallotta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 71 minutes, Ercole Nanni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cormano and the Casorate Sempione players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adriano Rucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Federico Pallotta made a huge save. In the 74th minute, Ernesto Cilli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adriano Rucci scored 1-4 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Pallotta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Federico Pallotta was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Filippo Lenzi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filippo Lenzi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. If Adriano Rucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cormano supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Casorate Sempione's performance. The match ended with a win for Casorate Sempione.
