Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alessandro Causio got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Fedele Tomasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arturo De Grandis hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Fedele Tomasso took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Beppe Salomone to make any attempt to save it. If Alex Guarrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fedele Tomasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Salomone having to interfere. Antonio De Laurentiis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessandro Causio went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 30 minutes, Alex Guarrera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mezzana Casati FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Guarrera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beppe Salomone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Tomasso in the 31st minute of the match. Antonio De Laurentiis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Causio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When Amedeo Spinosa fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mezzana Casati FC's protests and gave Amedeo Spinosa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mezzana Casati FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Amedeo Spinosa hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Alessandro Causio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corrado Barone in the 40th minute of play forced Mezzana Casati FC's goalkeeper Antonio De Laurentiis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fedele Tomasso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beppe Salomone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Alex Guarrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Salomone having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fedele Tomasso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Beppe Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Guarrera in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Fedele Tomasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Beppe Salomone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Aurelio Tomasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corrado Barone might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio De Laurentiis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Corrado Barone ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute Fedele Tomasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Salomone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Marmirolo AFC's Alvaro Marchegiani got a free kick in the 86th minute. Alex Guarrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Beppe Salomone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Guarrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Tomasso's late challenge caught a Mezzana Casati FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Tomasso helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Marmirolo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Tomasso. Marmirolo AFC's Aurelio Tomasso got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Aurelio Tomasso off the ground. Mezzana Casati FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
