The referee showed Anfilogino Alfani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gallina getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Anfilogino Alfani hit a great ball. Bastiglia FC's Armando Pascali couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gallina. Anfilogino Alfani hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Armando Pascali, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Domenico Di Berardino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Fausto Di Dio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Di Dio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Di Berardino, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Gallina's Cristoforo Farese sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Filice narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fausto Di Dio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Ragazzoni in the 34th minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Gallina's Edmondo Grimaldi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Filice was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gallina's Cristoforo Farese got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristoforo Farese stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Bastiglia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmondo Grimaldi came free, but Alfredo Filice reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Filice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Alfani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Cristoforo Farese's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Filice was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Edmondo Grimaldi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabio Ragazzoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Anfilogino Alfani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Ragazzoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Di Dio having to interfere. Dario Panella charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Dario Panella hit a great ball. Bastiglia FC's Armando Pascali shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 100th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fausto Di Dio but with some difficulty.
