Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alessandro Berardi started the match with the kick off. Rovere FC's Anthony Mozzoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Berardi in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes, Dino Carozza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aie FC and the Rovere FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Aie FC's Dino Carozza got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 6 played minutes Aie FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Goffredo. Carlo Contaldi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dave Gismondi charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dave Gismondi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes Aie FC got a freekick which was hit by Dave Gismondi. Ermanno Gallucci charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ermanno Gallucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Flavio Placidi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Addari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Mozzoni having to interfere. Flavio Placidi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ermanno Cannata went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ermanno Gallucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Placidi having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ermanno Gallucci to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Rovere FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippo Taglieri to maneuver through the defense. Camillo Calabrese was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Ernesto Anzolin fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rovere FC's protests and gave Ernesto Anzolin a yellow card for diving instead. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Placidi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ermanno Cannata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes, Alberto Goffredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aie FC and the Rovere FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlo Contaldi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavio Placidi. Aie FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anthony Mozzoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Berardi in the 72nd minute of play. Aie FC's Dino Carozza got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Dino Carozza off the ground. In the 74th match minute, Aie FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Carozza to maneuver through the defense. Camillo Calabrese kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Alberto Goffredo was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Aie FC's Alberto Goffredo got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ermanno Cannata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ermanno Gallucci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Placidi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The Rovere FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Aie FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Aie FC.
