With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Capone in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Zaino saved Pontevigodarzere from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Carter Valletta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Pontevigodarzere defense, Cristiano Marcucci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anselmo Zaino. The Pontevigodarzere fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anselmo Zaino should have stopped the shot. Porto Fuori FC's Flavio Lelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Battisti in the 45th minute of play.
