Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Florian Piattelli made the kick off which started today's match. A hard shot 10 in the game by Cristiano Savoia from a close distance when the talented Carmine Burgnich managed to make a qualified save. Fontana AFC's players were relieved. Borgo Grappa FC's Angelo Cancemi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Saturno in the 11th minute of play. Carmine Burgnich came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Borgo Grappa FC's Carlo Malandra. But to his dismay, Carlo Malandra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 19th minute Federico Saturno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Cancemi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Florian Piattelli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carmine Burgnich saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carmine Burgnich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Piattelli in the 30th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, Borgo Grappa FC's Florian Piattelli made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carmine Burgnich was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alvise Cannata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Attilio Cerrone charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Attilio Cerrone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Federico Saturno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Fontana AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alvise Cannata hit a great ball. Carmine Burgnich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Piattelli in the 42nd minute of the match. Cesare Boccanera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Burgnich having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Alvise Cannata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Cancemi having to make a save. Florian Piattelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Burgnich having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlo Malandra during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edmondo Paris, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Florian Piattelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carmine Burgnich read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. If Federico Saturno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Florian Piattelli made a precise shot to the right of Carmine Burgnich. Fontana AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Angelo Cancemi made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Alvise Cannata sent off a good shot on target. Borgo Grappa FC's Cristiano Savoia got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Piattelli in the 86th minute of play forced Fontana AFC's goalkeeper Carmine Burgnich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cristiano Savoia came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Borgo Grappa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Savoia couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Eugenio Gulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
