Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alessio Caporale kicked off to start the match. Dino Ruggieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carter Verdone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Domenico Di Sante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sasso Marconi's supporters rose to their feet, but Domenico Di Sante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elia Catini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domenico Di Sante in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elia Catini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filippo Bottaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Carter Verdone came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Bellariva AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carter Verdone couldn't finish the play. If Carter Verdone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sasso Marconi's Dino Ruggieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter Verdone in the 29th minute of play. Sasso Marconi's Domenico Di Sante got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dino Ruggieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Verdone in the 41st minute of play. Dino Ruggieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter Verdone in the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carter Verdone to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carter Verdone in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 53rd minute, Alvaro Del Giudice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A beautiful save bye Sasso Marconi's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Bellariva AFC's Anselmo Melani got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Alessio Caporale came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Sasso Marconi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessio Caporale couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Bellariva AFC's zone, Domenico Di Sante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elia Catini came out of the goal and Domenico Di Sante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Bellariva AFC booed when Sasso Marconi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Di Sante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carter Verdone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Ruggieri having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Carter Verdone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dino Ruggieri was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bellariva AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sasso Marconi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
