Adriano Scarinci didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Scarinci got free with Arrigo Bonsignore in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eraldo Giusti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Mandara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Valleandona's Felice Mandara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eraldo Giusti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arrigo Bonsignore was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Armando Marcolongo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Rozzano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Di Prinzio to maneuver through the defense. Felice Mandara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eraldo Giusti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Eraldo Giusti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmine Santacroce went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Rozzano AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Armin Di Prinzio hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felice Mandara to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Valleandona's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Marcolongo came free, but Arrigo Bonsignore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eraldo Giusti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felice Mandara, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 63rd match minute, Valleandona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmine Santacroce to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Scarinci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Armando Marcolongo made a precise shot to the right of Arrigo Bonsignore. Valleandona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. When Felice Mandara came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Valleandona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felice Mandara couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Carmine Santacroce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valleandona's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmine Santacroce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eraldo Giusti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felice Mandara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Eraldo Giusti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Concetto Pantani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
