Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aldo Benvenuto started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes Monzoro got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Buffone. After having played for 7 minutes, Aldo Benvenuto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tignamica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Benvenuto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Monzoro defense, Aldo Benvenuto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Astolfi. The Monzoro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Astolfi should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Monzoro getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Emilio Buffone hit a great ball. If Emilio Amicone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Benvenuto in the 26th minute of play forced Monzoro's goalkeeper Angelo Astolfi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Amicone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Astolfi having to interfere. Tignamica FC's Aldo Benvenuto got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Tignamica FC's Aldo Benvenuto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Astolfi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aldo Benvenuto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Concetto Iezzi made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Antonello Gallucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tignamica FC and the Monzoro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tignamica FC's Antonello Gallucci got a free kick in the 54th minute. Felice Di Giacomo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Iezzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Angelo Astolfi was a little too slow when Aldo Benvenuto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-3. Aldo Benvenuto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Angelo Astolfi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Aldo Benvenuto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tignamica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Benvenuto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Astolfi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Monzoro's Angelo Astolfi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Monzoro from getting a goal against them. Felice Di Giacomo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Iezzi in the 77th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Alfredo Nasuti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monzoro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tignamica FC the free kick. Emilio Amicone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Angelo Astolfi made a huge save. Concetto Iezzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Amicone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Astolfi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
