Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristiano Martano started the match with the kick off. Augusto Romanese could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Carter Di Fabrizio made a huge save. Frank Prandini kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Christian Marsilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Tenaglia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes of play, Palazzolo's Davide Tenaglia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Marsilio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carter Di Fabrizio was a little too slow when Concetto Piretti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-1. After having played for 23 minutes, Augusto Romanese managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gargallo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Romanese was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Martano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Christian Marsilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gargallo's Camillo Helfer got a free kick in the 29th minute. Christian Marsilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Di Giulio, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Christian Marsilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Martano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Concetto Piretti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ernesto Gaspari fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gargallo's protests and gave Ernesto Gaspari a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Gargallo got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Gaspari. Augusto Romanese recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
In the 52nd minute, Augusto Romanese got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Palazzolo getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Felice Di Lello hit a great ball. Christian Marsilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Martano, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Christian Marsilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Martano in the 60th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Gargallo's Augusto Romanese nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carter Di Fabrizio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Carter Di Fabrizio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Romanese's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Gargallo's Christian Marsilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Martano in the 79th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Cristiano Martano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Marsilio. Gargallo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Martano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After a rather tough play, Gargallo's Cesare Soccio got a free kick in the 87th minute. Christian Marsilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Martano in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Augusto Gervasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Concetto Piretti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Cristiano Sciotto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gargallo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palazzolo the free kick. A collision led to Gargallo getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Cristiano Sciotto hit a great ball. Gargallo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
