Carmine Di Iorio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Mediglia AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Antonello Colaneri hit a great ball. The supporters of Mediglia AFC booed when Crocetta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Di Iorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arrigo Brandolini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Fedele Galeone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, Arrigo Brandolini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Mediglia AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Dino Beattie hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Federici in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmine Di Iorio saved Mediglia AFC from getting behind. The referee gave Mediglia AFC a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Armin Sciarretta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Crocetta FC's Demetrio Tabacchi. 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, Alexander Federici had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carmine Di Iorio. Mediglia AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Federici was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Arrigo Brandolini made the kick off in the second half. Bruno Tacco's late challenge caught a Mediglia AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Tacco helped the player get up and apologised. 55 minutes into the game, one of Crocetta FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Mediglia AFC a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Armin Sciarretta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Crocetta FC's Demetrio Tabacchi. 2-2. Carmine Di Iorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Federici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mediglia AFC's Armin Sciarretta couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Crocetta FC. Biagio Moretti hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Amerigo Scannella put in a rough tackle. In the 68th minute, one of Crocetta FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Crocetta FC. Demetrio Tabacchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arrigo Brandolini, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Carmine Di Iorio came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Crocetta FC's Demetrio Tondi. But to his dismay, Demetrio Tondi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Biagio Moretti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Carmine Di Iorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Crocetta FC's Demetrio Tondi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carmine Di Iorio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arrigo Brandolini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Demetrio Tabacchi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Fedele Galeone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Demetrio Tabacchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
