Penalty! 16 minutes into the match, Sessarego's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Arcangeli came free, but Anthony Lemma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Damiano Nasuti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anthony Lemma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Nasuti in the 24th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Damiano Simone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ferruccio Arcangeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferruccio Arcangeli to make the kick off. Gazzolo were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Sessarego's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alvise De Zorzi took the corner. Federico Ascani was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Sessarego's Ciccio Giacchetti got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amerigo De Meis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armin Miconi having to make a save. Amerigo De Meis took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armin Miconi. Armin Miconi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Amerigo De Meis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amerigo De Meis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sessarego's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
