When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Alfredo De Palma took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Adriano Cirone to make any attempt to save it. 11 minutes into the match, Favaro Veneto FC's goalkeeper Adriano Cirone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armin Juliano. Carmine Albertini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Sorrentino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Favaro Veneto FC's Adriano Cirone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo De Palma in the 19th minute of play. Alfredo De Palma received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adriano Cirone came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfredo De Palma slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvise Del Nero during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carmine Albertini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Sorrentino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Di Bartolo charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Di Bartolo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Malandriano AFC's Alberto Di Bartolo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Felice Mammarella struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Adriano Cirone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malandriano AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Malandriano AFC's zone, Carmine Albertini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Sorrentino came out of the goal and Carmine Albertini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo De Palma made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Alfredo De Palma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Favaro Veneto FC's Adriano Cirone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Favaro Veneto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Mammarella came free, but Adriano Cirone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fedele Tiberio during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fedele Tiberio hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Carmine Albertini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Sorrentino having to make a save. Adriano Cirone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Mammarella in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Felice Mammarella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malandriano AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 71st minute Felice Mammarella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Cirone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmine Albertini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
