After 19 minutes, Cristiano Giolo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mazzo AFC and the Lunghezza AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mazzo AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 22 minutes into the match, Mazzo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Terrasi came free, but Cristiano Colucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrico Guidone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Edoardo Troilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Enrico Guidone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortunato Del Duca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edoardo Troilo having to interfere. Fortunato Del Duca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Edoardo Troilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Lunghezza AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Bosso. Enrico Guidone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edoardo Troilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Del Duca in the 44th minute of play. The supporters of Mazzo AFC booed when Lunghezza AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Bosso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Lunghezza AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Del Duca came free, but Edoardo Troilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fortunato Del Duca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Lunghezza AFC's Edoardo Troilo got control of the ball when Enrico Guidone tried to sneak it across the goal line.
