Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Comunardo Guerra started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Pelusi in the 3rd minute of play forced Rocca's goalkeeper Alvaro Bertolini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Rocca's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Pelusi came free, but Alvaro Bertolini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Bertolini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Pelusi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Carlo Pallotta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Comunardo Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Bertolini having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Contaldi in the 21st minute of play forced Ponticella FC's goalkeeper Fausto Varglien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 played minutes Rocca got a freekick which was hit by Armin Allegretti. Cristiano Gianfrancesco hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Comunardo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Bertolini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlo Pallotta hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Amedeo Cavallaro, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Rocca's Carlo Pallotta got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Comunardo Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alvaro Bertolini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comunardo Violento's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fausto Varglien firmly grabbed it by the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anfilogino Contaldi to strike the kick off in the second half. Fausto Varglien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Comunardo Violento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rocca's Anfilogino Contaldi in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ponticella FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrico Pelusi got free with Alvaro Bertolini in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Rocca's Armando De Angelis got a free kick in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Ponticella FC's Enrico Pelusi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvaro Bertolini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Anfilogino Contaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Ponticella FC's Alvaro Bertolini threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Comunardo Guerra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Enrico Pelusi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Bertolini having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Enrico Pelusi could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Alvaro Bertolini however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 80 minutes, Anfilogino Contaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rocca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anfilogino Contaldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrico Pelusi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Bertolini having to interfere. Fausto Varglien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anfilogino Contaldi went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ponticella FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
