Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Adriano Motta started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Augusto Melfi kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Poggio's keeper Donato Scibilia was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Amedeo Penna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Spitaleri in the 4th minute of play. Pinzano's Amedeo Penna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Marsilio in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinzano's goalkeeper Amedeo Penna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pinzano's Augusto Melfi got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Melfi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Donato Scibilia made a huge save. The Pinzano fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Pinzano's Adriano Motta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Motta in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Scibilia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute Enzo Marsilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amedeo Penna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Poggio's Enzo Marsilio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amedeo Penna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Adriano Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Donato Scibilia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eraldo Spitaleri came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Poggio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eraldo Spitaleri couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Pinzano's zone, Enzo Marsilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amedeo Penna came out of the goal and Enzo Marsilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enzo Marsilio was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Poggio got a corner. Pinzano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adriano Luciano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Poggio's Adriano Luciano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amedeo Penna in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Amedeo Penna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Marsilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eraldo Spitaleri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amedeo Penna having to make a save. In the 62nd minute, Adriano Motta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Aldo Mascitti fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poggio's protests and gave Aldo Mascitti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Poggio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Mascitti to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Donato Scibilia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Augusto Melfi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniele Marcolongo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Donato Scibilia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Melfi in the 78th minute of the match. When Adriano Motta came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Pinzano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Motta couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Pinzano:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Poggio:s goal. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Poggio. Adriano Luciano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Amedeo Penna. 1-2. Donato Scibilia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Melfi, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Adriano Motta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Scibilia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Eraldo Spitaleri struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Amedeo Penna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poggio.
