Damiano Flammini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 played minutes Ravenna AFC got a freekick which was hit by Elia Di Campli. Alfredo Carrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Carbonaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damiano Flammini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Carbonaro in the 19th minute of play forced Ravenna AFC's goalkeeper Alfredo Carrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Enzo Carbonaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elia Di Campli during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Elia Di Campli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 40 minutes, Ciro Munno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rivazzurra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Munno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo Toccaceli to make the kick off. Alfredo Carrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Carbonaro in the 56th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Ravenna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Sansoni to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Carrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Carbonaro in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Ravenna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Sansoni to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Marra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfredo Carrea. The referee ignored Ravenna AFC's protests and gave Alexander Sansoni a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ravenna AFC's Alexander Sansoni got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ercole Marinucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rivazzurra walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
