Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amerigo Pagliarini started the match with the kick off. 0-1 became the score in the 3rd minute when Alberto Ippoliti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of San Chiaffreddo booed when Villasanta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carter Fanfarone didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ciro Frabetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villasanta FC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Villasanta FC's zone, Amerigo Pagliarini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrea Piattelli came out of the goal and Amerigo Pagliarini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Villasanta FC's Andrea Piattelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Pagliarini in the 22nd minute of play. Andrea Piattelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Pagliarini in the 24th minute of play. Amerigo Pagliarini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amerigo Pagliarini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Andrea Piattelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Frabetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Frabettis short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Andrea Piattelli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Villasanta FC's zone, Ciro Frabetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrea Piattelli came out of the goal and Ciro Frabetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Villasanta FC's Andrea Piattelli got control of the ball when Ciro Frabetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciro Frabetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Ippoliti to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Alberto Ippoliti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Chiaffreddo's Federico De Amicis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 60 in the game by Attilio Baresi from a close distance when the talented Federico De Amicis managed to make a qualified save. San Chiaffreddo's players were relieved. 61 minutes into the match, San Chiaffreddo's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Ippoliti came free, but Federico De Amicis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Attilio Baresi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Federico De Amicis made a huge save. Attilio Baresi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Federico De Amicis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Frabetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Piattelli having to interfere. Amerigo Pagliarini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Villasanta FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Emiliano Di Renzo hit a great ball. Attilio Baresi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico De Amicis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Ippoliti in the 82nd minute of the match. Ciro Frabetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Amerigo Pagliarini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Chiaffreddo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amerigo Pagliarini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 0-2 became the score in the 87th minute when Attilio Baresi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Attilio Baresi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Frabetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Villasanta FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
