Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anselmo Piano started the match with the kick off. Dario Di Meo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Piano in the 7th minute of play. Anselmo Piano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Intimiano's zone, Franco Cruciani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberigo Genovesi came out of the goal and Franco Cruciani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franco Cruciani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Genovesi having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Intimiano got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Marini. Alfonso Pasinati, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Intimiano fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Intimiano's Elia Arpaia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Franco Cruciani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Federico Sorrentino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alberigo Genovesi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elia Arpaia in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dario Di Meo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alessio Toto charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessio Toto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, Chiappino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Toto to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Piano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dario Di Meo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Federico Sorrentino made a kick off. Alberigo Genovesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Cruciani in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Intimiano got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Marini. 55 minutes into the game, Franco Cruciani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Alberigo Genovesi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dario Di Meo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo Piano went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 64 minutes into the match, Elia Arpaia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Di Meo. Chiappino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elia Arpaia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After a rather tough play, Chiappino's Ciccio Guarisi got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chiappino! Dario Di Meo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Piano in the 82nd minute of the match. After 86 minutes, Anfilogino Iezzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chiappino and the Intimiano players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Chiappino getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Anfilogino Iezzi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Piano in the 88th minute of play forced Chiappino's goalkeeper Dario Di Meo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chiappino booed when Intimiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Ferretti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberigo Genovesi made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Franco Cruciani sent off a good shot on target. Franco Cruciani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Alberigo Genovesi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Di Meo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Arpaia in the 97th minute of play. Intimiano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chiappino for a fine match.
