Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Comunardo Damiani started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ennio Fata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elia Arpaia in the 7th minute of the match. Franco Ferretti's late challenge caught a Rastignano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franco Ferretti helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Intimiano's Franco Ferretti got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Rastignano's Demetrio Gerola in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Intimiano's goalie prevented a goal. Demetrio Gerola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Genovesi having to interfere. Alberigo Genovesi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Gerola in the 19th minute of the match. Attilio Addario kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match Fabio Sessa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberigo Genovesi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ennio Fata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Piano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elia Arpaia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Ennio Fata skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice moves Elia Arpaia could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Ennio Fata however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Intimiano defense, Arturo Aversano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberigo Genovesi. The Intimiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberigo Genovesi should have stopped the shot. Alberigo Genovesi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Demetrio Gerola's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Comunardo Damiani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rastignano's Demetrio Gerola got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 played minutes Intimiano got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Piano. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Demetrio Gerola in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberigo Genovesi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Anselmo Piano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Intimiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Piano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ennio Fata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Piano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Piano scored 1-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ennio Fata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute, Elia Arpaia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Tesone hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Anselmo Piano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ennio Fata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demetrio Gerolas short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Alberigo Genovesi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alberigo Genovesi stood somewhat misplaced when Demetrio Gerola came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 75 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rastignano's zone, Elia Arpaia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ennio Fata came out of the goal and Elia Arpaia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Demetrio Gerola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
