Franco Cruciani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesare Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Sorrentino in the 10th minute of the match. Novegro's Cesare Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Cruciani in the 12th minute of play. Christian Cino's late challenge caught a Chiappino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Cino helped the player get up and apologised. Chiappino's Dario Di Meo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Chiappino from getting a goal against them. Anfilogino Egidi charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anfilogino Egidi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anfilogino Egidi kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Alfonso Pasinati struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Cesare Santoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chiappino. Franco Cruciani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cesare Santoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristoforo Boldrini struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Dario Di Meo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Novegro. Cristoforo Boldrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Dario Di Meo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Demetrio Di Muzio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dario Di Meo. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Franco Cruciani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiappino's supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Cruciani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesare Santoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Sorrentino in the 38th minute of play forced Novegro's goalkeeper Cesare Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristoforo Boldrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Di Meo having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Boldrini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dario Di Meo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 46 played minutes Novegro got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Furino. After having played for 48 minutes, Franco Cruciani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chiappino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franco Cruciani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Demetrio Di Muzio made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, Chiappino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Santini to maneuver through the defense. Dario Di Meo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrio Di Muzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Demetrio Di Muzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Di Meo having to interfere. Franco Cruciani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franco Cruciani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Cesare Santoro made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Demetrio Di Muzio in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Di Meo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Demetrio Di Muzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dario Di Meo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrio Di Muzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Novegro's Cristoforo Boldrini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Di Meo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Demetrio Di Muzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Di Meo having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chiappino players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Novegro.
