The supporters of Quartesana booed when Arasì was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Bucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Alfredo Calabrese sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fortunato Giusti skillfully saved the ball. Augusto Garibaldi charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Garibaldi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Quartesana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Garibaldi to maneuver through the defense. Dino Cimino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Dino Cimino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Moretti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Quartesana's Augusto Garibaldi got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute of the match, Dino Cimino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfredo Moretti saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 28 minutes, Concetto Malinconico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arasì's supporters crossed their fingers, but Concetto Malinconico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dino Cimino fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arasì's protests and gave Dino Cimino a yellow card for diving instead. If Davide Morandin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco Zoccolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davide Morandin struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Fortunato Giusti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quartesana. After 44 played minutes Quartesana got a freekick which was hit by Comunardo Tesone. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Dino Cimino made the kick off in the second half. When Ferdinando Montini came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Arasì fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinando Montini couldn't finish the play. Augusto Garibaldi hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Arasì got a corner. Quartesana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enrico Battisti ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Enrico Battisti got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfredo Moretti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Franco Zoccolo fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quartesana's protests and gave Franco Zoccolo a yellow card for diving instead. Franco Zoccolo hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Arasì's zone, Davide Morandin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Giusti came out of the goal and Davide Morandin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83 played minutes Arasì got a freekick which was hit by Florian Bucci. Franco Zoccolo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Alfredo Moretti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Concetto Malinconico went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Arasì had won after a very even match.
