Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Angelo Colaneri started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Trignano booed when Cao Di Sopra AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Paglione didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Panella was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Angelo Colaneri might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmondo Di Pietro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Colaneri ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12thth minute of the game Angelo Colaneri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cao Di Sopra AFC's Edmondo Di Pietro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Dennis Travaglini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cao Di Sopra AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Travaglini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Aldo Cammarota was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trignano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cao Di Sopra AFC the free kick. Dennis Travaglini struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Attilio Cardillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cao Di Sopra AFC. If Alberto Garofalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Colaneri got free with Edmondo Di Pietro in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Cao Di Sopra AFC's Edmondo Di Pietro got control of the ball when Alberto Garofalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberigo Mariano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Cardillo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Trignano's zone, Dennis Travaglini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Attilio Cardillo came out of the goal and Dennis Travaglini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmondo Di Pietro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Colaneri in the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Alberto Garofalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Colaneri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmondo Di Pietro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Felice Renzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alberto Garofalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Travaglini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Cardillo having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Angelo Colaneri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmondo Di Pietro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trignano's Angelo Colaneri got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Cao Di Sopra AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Garofalo came free, but Edmondo Di Pietro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cao Di Sopra AFC's Alberigo Mariano got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cao Di Sopra AFC's Edmondo Di Pietro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Colaneri in the 77th minute of play. Dennis Travaglini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Trignano's goalkeeper Attilio Cardillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis Travaglini. In the 93rd minute Dennis Travaglini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Cardillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberigo Mariano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Cao Di Sopra AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
