Occhiobello's Fedele Di Gregorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Ricci in the 9th minute of play. Sferracavallo's Fausto Ferrante got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fedele Di Gregorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Ricci in the 18th minute of play. If Alfonso Ricci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Occhiobello getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Bianco Vierchowod hit a great ball. Fedele Di Gregorio had great luck who in the 24thth minute grab hold of the ball when Alfonso Ricci from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 26th minute, Sferracavallo's Alfonso Ricci ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fedele Di Gregorio. Fedele Di Gregorio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Alfonso Ricci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. The tension between the Occhiobello and the Sferracavallo players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Ricci made a kick off. Sferracavallo's Arrigo Di Toro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Pelliccioni in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Arturo Pelliccioni rounded Sferracavallo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1.
