In the 4th minute Antonio Picca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulvio Tiberio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulvio Tiberio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Picca in the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to Grignano FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Concetto Fortunato hit a great ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Dave De Rubeis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grignano FC's Armando Longo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marano Di Napoli's Carmine Troilo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grignano FC's Armando Longo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Grignano FC from getting a goal against them. When Fulvio Aloisi fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grignano FC's protests and gave Fulvio Aloisi a yellow card for diving instead. When Dave De Rubeis came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Marano Di Napoli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dave De Rubeis couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dave De Rubeis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antonio Picca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Fulvio Tiberio made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Carmine Troilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marano Di Napoli's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmine Troilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Longo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grignano FC's goalkeeper Armando Longo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Grignano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Di Michele to maneuver through the defense. Dave De Rubeis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Longo having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Grignano FC's Ermanno Di Michele ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fulvio Tiberio. Fulvio Tiberio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Armando Longo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave De Rubeis in the 78th minute of the match. Dave De Rubeis scored 1-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Longo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fulvio Tiberio made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Antonio Picca sent off a good shot on target. Antonio Picca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grignano FC's Ermanno Di Michele got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Grignano FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Marano Di Napoli from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
