Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Domenico Scacchi got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Malandriano FC's goalkeeper Daniele Petrosino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Taraborrelli. Ferruccio Gigli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ferdinando Contestabile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domenico Scacchi during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, Domenico Scacchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferruccio Gigli in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinando Contestabile prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Malandriano FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Comunardo Rava hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Florian Loiacono was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malandriano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vanzaghello FC the free kick. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Malandriano FC! The referee gave Vanzaghello FC a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anthony Di Donato, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Malandriano FC's Daniele Petrosino. 1-0. 28 minutes into the game, Corrado Cicchetti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniele Petrosino. Corrado Cicchetti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 33 played minutes Malandriano FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Capaldo. Anthony Di Donato was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Domenico Scacchi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ferruccio Gigli made the kick off in the second half. Domenico Scacchi scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniele Petrosino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 55 played minutes Malandriano FC got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Buccella. Vanzaghello FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Malandriano FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anthony Di Donato took the corner. Anthony Di Donato made a great header on Vanzaghello FC's corner, it was just that Malandriano FC's Daniele Petrosino managed to reach the ball for a save. Corrado Cicchetti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniele Petrosino. Malandriano FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dave Cavallucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th match minute, Vanzaghello FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Grimaldi to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes Malandriano FC got a freekick which was hit by Dave Cavallucci. After a defensive mix-up in Malandriano FC's zone, Domenico Scacchi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniele Petrosino came out of the goal and Domenico Scacchi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniele Petrosino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Taraborrelli in the 69th minute of the match. Anselmo Taraborrelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniele Petrosino having to interfere. Daniele Petrosino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Taraborrelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Taraborrelli struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Daniele Petrosino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vanzaghello FC. After having played for 93 minutes, Ferruccio Gigli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malandriano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferruccio Gigli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Ferruccio Gigli fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Vanzaghello FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
