Valgatara FC's Donato Della Rocca got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dave Gerola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinando Contestabile having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Vanzaghello FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmine Locatelli to maneuver through the defense. Valgatara FC's Dave Gerola got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donato Della Rocca scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdinando Contestabile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anselmo Taraborrelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Domenico Scacchi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuele Gerola was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Dave Gerola struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ferdinando Contestabile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valgatara FC. A hard and well directed shot from Anthony Di Donato led 76 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Valgatara FC's Emanuele Gerola became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-1. In the 88th minute, Ciro Granata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuele Gerola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Taraborrelli in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Valgatara FC's Donato Della Rocca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinando Contestabile made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.
