Diego Di Ruscio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Franco having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Canizzano FC's goalkeeper Christian Franco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beppe Rosetta. After 7 minutes, Emanuele Nola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porto Corsini AFC and the Canizzano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emanuele Nola hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Ernesto Basile hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Diego Mara was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Emiliano Vaiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Vanni hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Porto Corsini AFC's Anthony Taglieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Vaiani in the 17th minute of play. Diego Di Ruscio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Franco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Felice Bani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canizzano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porto Corsini AFC the free kick. It was beautiful to see Porto Corsini AFC's Emanuele Nola in action when he in the 24th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 27 minutes into the match, Emiliano Vaiani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anthony Taglieri. Porto Corsini AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Vaiani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Diego Di Ruscio struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Christian Franco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porto Corsini AFC. Beppe Rosetta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Di Ruscio in the 36th minute of play. Diego Di Ruscio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Christian Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Canizzano FC's Alex Nobile sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anthony Taglieri narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

After a defensive mix-up in Canizzano FC's zone, Diego Di Ruscio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Franco came out of the goal and Diego Di Ruscio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Di Ruscio in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Franco saved Canizzano FC from getting behind. If Beppe Rosetta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Di Ruscio in the 66th minute of the match. After 67 minutes, Antonello Gaudino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canizzano FC and the Porto Corsini AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christian Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beppe Rosetta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Canizzano FC's Emiliano Vaiani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anthony Taglieri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anthony Taglieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Nobile in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Antonello Gaudino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Porto Corsini AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ciccio Maio hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Emiliano Vaiani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canizzano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porto Corsini AFC the free kick. The supporters of Porto Corsini AFC booed when Canizzano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Vaiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 played minutes, Canizzano FC's Davide Marcolongo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anthony Taglieri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Canizzano FC reached it. In the 84th minute, Emanuele Nola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beppe Rosetta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Christian Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Canizzano FC! When Ettore Vago fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porto Corsini AFC's protests and gave Ettore Vago a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Porto Corsini AFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ettore Vago hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Porto Corsini AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
