Biagio Ferretti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Buccella, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Alfredo Olmi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Ferretti having to interfere. Gambulaga AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piani the free kick. Frank Nicolini took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amedeo Ramoser. Angelo Anelli was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Gambulaga AFC's Angelo Anelli got a free kick in the 76th minute. Gambulaga AFC's Amedeo Ramoser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Nicolini in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Gambulaga AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Fausto Di Placido hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Gambulaga AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Nicolini came free, but Amedeo Ramoser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Nicolini in the 95th minute of play forced Gambulaga AFC's goalkeeper Amedeo Ramoser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piani were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gambulaga AFC for a fine match.
