With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Marinelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes into the match, Rivoli AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Cera came free, but Domenico Marinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuele Genta in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfonso Della Francesca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 13 minutes into the match, Olive AFC's goalkeeper Alfonso Della Francesca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuele Genta. In the 18th minute, Fulvio Mansueto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domenico Marinelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo Profeta in the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuele Genta got free with Alfonso Della Francesca in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camillo Profeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrico Monzeglio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Camillo Profeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Domenico Marinelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Olive AFC's Amerigo Cera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domenico Marinelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rdth minute of the game Enrico Monzeglio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olive AFC's Alfonso Della Francesca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enrico Monzeglio scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Della Francesca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rivoli AFC's goalkeeper Domenico Marinelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Domenico Marinelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo Profeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuele Genta in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Della Francesca saved Olive AFC from getting behind. Rivoli AFC's Emanuele Genta got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Olive AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Olive AFC:s Alfonso Della Francesca showed great skill when he stopped Ettore Aversano:s penalty. Camillo Profeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenico Marinelli having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Amerigo Cera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Marinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camillo Profeta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Domenico Marinelli made a huge save. The long shot by Claudio Marra in the 72nd minute really tested Domenico Marinelli's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dennis Santangelo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Alfonso Della Francesca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Monzeglio in the 78th minute of the match. Domenico Marinelli came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Olive AFC's Camillo Profeta. But to his dismay, Camillo Profeta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Enrico Monzeglio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Della Francesca having to interfere. Emanuele Genta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Alfonso Della Francesca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Enrico Monzeglio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Olive AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
