Federico Vianello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Moschetta in the 5th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Peretola AFC got a freekick which was hit by Franco Muzzatti. Enrico Schirone was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, San Maurízio's goalkeeper Arturo Mastronardi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Gualtieri. Arturo Mastronardi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Gualtieri in the 16th minute. After 18 played minutes San Maurízio got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Talamo. In the 20th minute Cristoforo Feliziani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Mastronardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peretola AFC's Federico Vianello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Santucci in the 24th minute of play. Cosimo Moschetta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico Vianello having to make a save. Alvaro Granati charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Granati the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to San Maurízio getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alvaro Granati hit a great ball. Fabiano Nardone kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Federico Vianello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Moschetta in the 39th minute of the match. Bernardo Bernardini kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 48thth minute of the game Cosimo Moschetta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peretola AFC's Federico Vianello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Alberto Gualtieri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peretola AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Gualtieri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Mastronardi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Gualtieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Federico Vianello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugenio Santucci went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. San Maurízio walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
