Franco Muzzatti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Papetti having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Alberto Gualtieri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ognissanti booed when Peretola AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Muzzatti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Vianello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Bianchi in the 9th minute of play. Filippo Papetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Feliziani in the 13th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Peretola AFC booed when Ognissanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmondo Pallotta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Bianchi struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Federico Vianello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ognissanti. Thanks to some nice moves Amedeo Cavaliere could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Federico Vianello however easily saved by the left post. In the 33rd minute, Cristoforo Feliziani made a precise shot to the right of Filippo Papetti. Ognissanti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Bianchi in the 37th minute of play forced Peretola AFC's goalkeeper Federico Vianello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Federico Vianello managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Ognissanti's Amedeo Cavaliere fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Federico Vianello came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Ognissanti's Amedeo Cavaliere. But to his dismay, Amedeo Cavaliere quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristoforo Feliziani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Ognissanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Piccone to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Gualtieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Bernardini hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Federico Vianello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Cavaliere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Enzo Del Grosso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peretola AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amedeo Cavaliere was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A collision led to Ognissanti getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Edmondo Pallotta hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Alberto Gualtieri notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Ognissanti's Filippo Papetti. Filippo Papetti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Ognissanti defense, Alberto Gualtieri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filippo Papetti. The Ognissanti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filippo Papetti should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ognissanti lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
