Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Enzo Maurizi kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Triggiano defense, Ettore Falcioni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabrizio Mazza. The Triggiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabrizio Mazza should have stopped the shot. Ettore Falcioni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrizio Mazza having to make a save. Triggiano's Domenico Ronca got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enzo Maurizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabrizio Mazza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ettore Falcioni in the 24th minute. When Cosimo Grieco fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Triggiano's protests and gave Cosimo Grieco a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Triggiano got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Grieco. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Proietti during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chiavelli getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Flavio Proietti hit a great ball. Ennio Pezzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Ronca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Domenico Ronca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio Pezzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ettore Falcioni came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Chiavelli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Falcioni couldn't finish the play. If Domenico Ronca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Maurizi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ennio Pezzi having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Miranda to make the kick off. The supporters of Chiavelli booed when Triggiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Ruggeri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Mazza having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Anthony Totaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Triggiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chiavelli the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, Triggiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Totaro to maneuver through the defense. Chiavelli's Ettore Falcioni got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donato Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chiavelli's goalkeeper Ennio Pezzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chiavelli's Ettore Falcioni suffered a concussion in the 80th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Claudio Nardone fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Triggiano's protests and gave Claudio Nardone a yellow card for diving instead. Donato Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 85th minute of the match Cosimo Grieco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cosimo Grieco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 86th match minute, Triggiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosimo Grieco to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Triggiano's Daniele Marchetti got a free kick in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chiavelli had won after a very even match.
