The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Fabio Arpaia came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Pideura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Arpaia couldn't finish the play. After having played for 13 minutes, Amerigo Ricciuti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albinea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amerigo Ricciuti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Pideura FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Eraldo Lavatrice hit a great ball. Fulvio Capaldo's late challenge caught a Albinea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulvio Capaldo helped the player get up and apologised. Fulvio Capaldo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pideura FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arturo Di Silvio was slow to take the kick. During this time Albinea's players had a chance to rest. Amerigo Ricciuti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Fracassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Odisio having to interfere. The Albinea fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Albinea's Amerigo Ricciuti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Adriano Perazzolo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pideura FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Perazzolo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franco Del Papa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Concetto Del Nero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Franco Del Papa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Concetto Del Nero put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Franco Del Papa.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amerigo Ricciuti was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Adriano Perazzolo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pideura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Perazzolo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pideura FC's Christian Odisio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Fracassi in the 57th minute of play. Christian Odisio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amerigo Ricciuti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beppe Guerini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Odisio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amerigo Ricciuti, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Amerigo Ricciuti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Christian Odisio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriano Perazzolo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Franco Del Papa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pideura FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Del Nero in the 87th minute of play forced Albinea's goalkeeper Franco Del Papa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amerigo Ricciuti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Odisio having to interfere. If Dennis Fracassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pideura FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
