Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Domenico Di Crescenzo started the match with the kick off. Alessandro Mazzini kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Alessio Lauro struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Corrado Locatelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Massimo AFC. Alessio Lauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When San Massimo AFC's Domenico Di Crescenzo in 11 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Corrado Locatelli guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Alessio Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Corrado Locatelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corrado Locatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Di Crescenzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 14th minute, Domenico Di Crescenzo made a precise shot to the right of Corrado Locatelli. Classe AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Alessio Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Locatelli having to interfere. Domenico Di Crescenzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Corrado Locatelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessio Lauro got free with Corrado Locatelli in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domenico Di Crescenzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Locatelli having to interfere. Ferdinando Porta's late challenge caught a San Massimo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinando Porta helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Classe AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Porta. San Massimo AFC were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Classe AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emilio Roberto took the corner. The corner led San Massimo AFC's Emilio Roberto to fire away a dangerous shot which Corrado Locatelli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Domenico Di Crescenzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Corrado Locatelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenico Di Crescenzo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Corrado Locatelli came out and tried to block the shot, but Domenico Di Crescenzo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 32nd minute. Arturo Ramundo's late challenge caught a San Massimo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Classe AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emilio Roberto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Emilio Roberto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Classe AFC's Corrado Locatelli did a great save. 43 minutes into the match, Arrigo Colella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Pasquino. San Massimo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arrigo Colella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arrigo Colella to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Domenico Di Crescenzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Massimo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domenico Di Crescenzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camillo Lombardi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camillo Lombardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Alvaro Pasquino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Alessio Lauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Massimo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessio Lauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When San Massimo AFC's Domenico Di Crescenzo in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Classe AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Classe AFC booed when San Massimo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Testi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Classe AFC's Arrigo Colella slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alvaro Pasquino. That made the score 2-2 after 84 minutes of play. Arrigo Colella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Pasquino having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, San Massimo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Verna to maneuver through the defense. Corrado Locatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Di Crescenzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
