Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aldo Carota made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute, Ciro Flocco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demetrio Formaggio's late challenge caught a Cittadella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Demetrio Formaggio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cittadella booed when Campiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Formaggio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Scafati in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Cipollone saved Campiano from getting behind. Cittadella's Concetto Valerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Carota in the 16th minute of play. Concetto Valerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Carota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Carota in the 21st minute of play forced Cittadella's goalkeeper Concetto Valerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Scafati took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Cipollone. Fausto Cipollone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 27 minutes into the game, Cittadella's Ciro Flocco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Cipollone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ciro Flocco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Cipollone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Bruno Scafati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Cipollone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Flocco in the 33rd minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match, Aldo Carota tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Concetto Valerio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aldo Carota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aldo Carota blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Concetto Valerio having to make a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Scafati to make the kick off. Francesco Rosetta struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Concetto Valerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campiano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Carota in the 55th minute of play forced Cittadella's goalkeeper Concetto Valerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Ennio Fioriti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cittadella's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campiano the free kick. A collision led to Cittadella getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ennio Fioriti hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes Cittadella got a freekick which was hit by Achille Lampa. 60 minutes into the match, Campiano's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Scafati came free, but Fausto Cipollone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Flocco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francesco Rosetta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Concetto Valerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ennio Fioriti was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. In the 72nd match minute, Cittadella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Fioriti to maneuver through the defense. Concetto Valerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francesco Rosetta went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ciro Flocco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fausto Cipollone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, Campiano's Francesco Rosetta made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Concetto Valerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Cittadella booed when Campiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Carosella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florian Molinari charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florian Molinari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
