Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Roncadelle's Ercole Rosa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ciro Flocco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ettore Vani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ettore Vani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bruno Scafati showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Bruno Scafati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Vani having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermanno Di Nucci in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Concetto Valerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Scafati in the 13th minute of play forced Roncadelle's goalkeeper Ettore Vani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Bruno Scafati cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ettore Vani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th match minute, Roncadelle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Torelli to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Flocco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bruno Scafati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 26 minutes, Ennio Fioriti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cittadella and the Roncadelle players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ciro Flocco sped through Roncadelle's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ettore Vani. In the 34thth minute of the game Ercole Rosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cittadella's Concetto Valerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eraldo Spagnuolo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Ciro Flocco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Torelli hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Bruno Scafati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Vani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ercole Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Concetto Valerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 minutes of play, Roncadelle's Ercole Rosa made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Concetto Valerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Scafati to make the kick off. When Bruno Scafati came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Cittadella fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Scafati couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Cittadella:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Roncadelle:s goal. 3-3 came through a penalty shot after 68 played minutes, when Roncadelle:s Bruno Betti calmly waited for Cittadella:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Concetto Valerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ermanno Di Nucci went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Roncadelle's Ettore Vani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Scafati in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the Cittadella defense, Ercole Rosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Concetto Valerio. The Cittadella fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Concetto Valerio should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Ercole Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Cittadella's Concetto Valerio got control of the ball when Enzo Torelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Ermanno Di Nucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roncadelle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermanno Di Nucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Scafati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Ettore Vani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Roncadelle eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
